Sometimes an off-the-shelf IP core does not exactly fit the requirement of your system or there is some additional capability which you require but would prefer not to create yourself. All our IP cores include a few days of design support which can be used for minor customization and extension to the off the shelf product but occasionally more substantial changes or a completely new core is required.
